Lexington- Janet S. Navarra, age 71, a resident of Lexington passed away on Tuesday July 3, 2012 in Port Huron.

She was born on August 22, 1940 in Port Huron a daughter of the late Wayne and Mary (Quance) Locke. Janet married Raymond Navarra on August 18, 1962 in Warren, Michigan. The couple would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in August.

Janet was a member of the “Scrap Rats”, a quilting club that meets at the Aitken Library in Croswell, she was an avid bowler and enjoyed baking for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Raymond Navarra of Lexington, a son John (Lisa) Navarra of Atlanta, Georgia; two daughters Ellen (Charles) Fischer of Huntington Beach, California and Lisa Nazione of Warren. 4 Grandchildren . A brother Jimmie Locke of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Burr.

Visitation will be at the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Lexington from 6-9 on Friday. Memorials in memory of Janet are suggested to the American Lung Association.
