CARSONVILLE: Jerome G. Filthaut, age 71, died Thursday, July 5, 2012 in his home.

He was born November 21, 1940 in VanDyke, son of the late Ernest Joseph & Valeda Marie (Suprenaut) Filthaut. He and Anna May LeFever were married March 24, 1961 in Utica.

Jerome is survived by his wife, Anna; two sons, Jerry & David (Tanya); one daughter Betty (Brian) Karpovich; four brothers, Ron (Gale), Bob, Don (Becky), and Raymond (Jeanette); two sisters, Shirlene (Ken) Curran & Sharon (Earl) Wright; 10 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon & Ed, and a sister, Annette.

Funeral Services will be 7 PM Monday, July 9, 2012 at Pomeroy Funeral Home, Carsonville. The Rev. Jerry Griggs, pastor of Carsonville U. Methodist Church, will officiate.

Visitation will be 3 – 7 PM Monday.
