Applegate- Ann A. Levitt, age 84, a resident of Applegate passed away on Friday July 27, 2012 at the Port Huron Hospital.
She was born on October 30, 1927 in Buel Twp. a daughter of the late Leo and Theresa (Mullin) Sheridan. Ann married Miles W. Levitt on November 8, 1947 at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Croswell. Msgr. Earl V. Sheridan performed the ceremony.
Ann was a devoted member of St. Patricks Catholic Church for many years and was also a member of the Altar Society. She was also an avid card player. Most importantly Ann was devoted to her family, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt and friend to many, she will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Ann is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Miles Levitt of Applegate, seven children, Donald (Janet) Levitt of Croswell, Ronald (Doreen) Levitt of Croswell, Denise (Brian) Pupi of Carsonville, Mary Jane (Bob) Bolsby of Applegate, Linda Levitt of Carsonville, Dennis (Melissa) Levitt of Tennesse and Theresa (George) Lodge of Croswell. Seventeen Grandchildren, Mark Levitt, Jenni (Troy) Robertson, Jeff (Kandi) Levitt, Andy (Anna) Levitt, Sarah (LC) Hayes, Justin (Kelsey) Levitt, Eric (Kelley) Pupi, Lisa Pupi, Stacie Pupi, Nancy (Doug) Kreis, Bobby (Kristy) Bolsby, Ashley Burns, Kelsey Lodge, Michelle Lodge and Christopher Lodge, Kelly (Jeremy) Woodard and Haley Vickey. 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grand child. A brother Jerome (Janice) Sheridan of Gladwin, 4 sister in laws Eileen Sheridan of Williamston, Lois Sheridan of Croswell, Marjorie Zane of Warren and Joan (Bill) Shell of Croswell. Many special nieces and nephews and a special friend and cousin Earl Schroeder. Ann was preceded in death by two grandchildren Amy Levitt and Nickolas Miller, she was also preceded in death by three brothers John, Joseph, and James Sheridan and three sisters Helen, Isabelle Ciochon and Jane Churches.
Visitation will be from 2-9 on Tuesday at the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Croswell. Rosary Devotions will be held at 8 P.M. Tuesday evening. Funeral Mass 11 A.M. Wednesday at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Croswell. Fr. Robert Schikora will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery.
