CROSWELL: Arden L. Clarkson, 80, of Croswell, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Medi Lodge of Yale.
He was born June 20, 1932 in Brown City, son of the late Glen and Alta (Lee) Clarkson. He and Ramona Lusher were married on Nov. 10, 1949 in Sandusky.
Arden was an owner of Clarkson Dairy in Croswell, along with his brothers, who operated the family business from the 1930’s to 1955, when it was sold to London Dairy. He continued to work for London’s until retirement after 50 years in the dairy business. Arden was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Croswell.
Surviving are his wife Ramona; daughter Lynn (Francis) Booth of Shelby Twp.; sons Dan (Ellen) of Bad Axe, Dennis (Janet) of Jackson, and David (Terri) of Ft. Gratiot; brothers Jule (Joyce) of Waterford, Wayne (Colleen) of Florida, and Lyle (Rita) of Croswell; ten Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Lee, Lawrence, and Gene.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Croswell. Rev Kenneth Hetzel, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Croswell, will officiate. Burial will be in the Croswell Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2-9 PM Tuesday, and 10-11 AM Wednesday.
