Nina Ann Muse

CROSWELL- Nina Ann (Morse) Muse went home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2024. She passed away peacefully at her home in Croswell, Michigan. She was born on December 29, 1950 in Black Rock, Arkansas, to Hartman Morse (deceased) and Annie Maxine (Darris) Morse (deceased). Nina married Larry T. Muse on February 3, 1968 in Detroit, Michigan and spent their lives together in love for 56 years. Nina received her high school diploma then went on to attend and excel in cosmetology college, was later certified in bookkeeping and ultimately she graduated from nursing school. She dedicated many years to her community as a Home Healthcare provider and also as a licensed Adult Foster Care home owner, where she cared for many elderly patients. With love, compassion and dignity she cared for her patients as her own family. Nina was a devoted member of the Community Baptist Church in Croswell for many years, where she found joy in her faith and fellowship. She cherished her time spent at Joy Baptist Camp Co-Be-Ac with her sisters in Christ, she loved singing in the choir, making quilts for her family and especially with the ladies missionary group for missionaries, those going off to college and new babies born to the church families. She loved cooking, fishing and traveling with her husband. She also enjoyed various creative pursuits including crocheting, painting, woodworking and many other arts and crafts. She is survived by her beloved husband, Larry T. Muse; her children David (Theresa) Muse, Daniel (Gina) Muse, Brenda Muse, Lisa (Karl) Hanzinger, Veta (Pat) Huelsman, along with her late son, Jimmy Muse; Nina’s family also includes Sherri Muse and David Sickman, both deceased; her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Natoshia (Aaron) Lunney, Curtis Tibbs, Jordan Heinrich, Michael Muse, Amanda Grace (Jeremiah ) Page, Dalton Hanzinger, Jennifer Muse, Joshua Muse, AnnaBella Muse and Cheryl Sickman; she was also blessed with great grandchildren, Saphira Lunney, Namoi Lunney, Ellianna Page and Elenora Page; Nina is survived by her siblings, Joyce (Randall) Lawson, Brenda Foshee, David (Vanessa) Morse, Tommy (Beth) Morse and her late sisters, Veda Morse and Sandra Morse. In addition, she leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, close friends and their families, all of whom will hold her memory dear. A memorial service honoring Nina’s life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the Assembly of God Church at 101 W. Sanborn Ave, Croswell, Michigan. Visitation will be from 12 Noon- 2 P.M. on Saturday. Memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. and a luncheon will immediately follow the service. Inurnment will be in the Washington Cemetery in Carsonville. Nina will be remembered for her deep faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her kind, loving nature and the lasting impact her kindness made on everyone she encountered. She will be Greatly missed.
