B. Ross Ashby Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

B. Ross Ashby (Bud), age 91, a resident of Croswell, and formerly of Fraser and Warren, passed away at home on July 23, 2022. He was born on December 10, 1930 in Highland Park, MI. to the late Wheaton and Geneva Ashby. He was a graduate of Wayne State University and worked in various capacities in the auto industry. He served his country honorably with the United States Army during the Korean conflict. His interests included playing cards, bowling, traveling and old movies. He is survived by Brenda, his wife of 43 years, his children: Gail M. Ashby (Scott Case), Kenneth R. Ashby, Sandra L. Ashby and Keith D. Ashby (Diana) and by his step daughters Caren L. Degiovanni (Mario), Deanne L. Fox (Fred), and Stacey M. Gann. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, cousin Clark D. Ashby ( Karen) and sisters-in-law Patricia A. Styles (Colin) and Christine M. Doy. He was preceded in death by his stepson Gary D. Shank, sister Barbara Braun, good friend and brother-in-law George Braun, brother-in-law Derek Doy and cousin Denyse R. Ashby. Cremation has taken place. In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
