Josephine Krotak

LEXINGTON- Josephine Krotak, age 86, a resident of Lexington, passed away very unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 17, 2019. She was born on March 14, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Egan and Julia (Tarchic) Salash. Josephine married Richard Krotak on December 22, 1962. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2011. Josephine enjoyed music and traveling, but most of all she enjoyed her two grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, Steven Joseph Mason and William Thomas Mason,III; a step son, Jim Krotak and a step daughter, Linda Marie Krause; her two grandchildren, Zoe and Andrew Hecker; one sister, Virginia Wisniewski. Josephine was preceded in death by her son, Dale Francis Mason and her daughter, Julie Ann Hecker. Cremation has taken place and memorial service is being planned for a later date.
