Lawrence “Larry” F. Jaeger, age 75, passed away on June 5, 2020 in his home in Lexington, MI. Larry was born on January 13, 1945 in Aurora, MN to Frederick and Ellen Jaeger. He served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired Senior Water Plant Operator for the City of Detroit. Larry was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Lexington, MI. Larry was a generous man and would always give of himself to help anyone. He had a special place in his heart for animals and fed his birds daily. He was truly loved and admired by all who knew him. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Nemeckay); two sons, Joseph (Diana) of Ruskin, FL and Jonathan of Lexington, MI; three grandchildren, Joshua, Claire and Lacy; two sisters, Ellen (Danny) Martelli of Gate City, VA and Rosalie Jaeger of Lexington, MI; and two sister-in-laws, Beverly Nemeckay of Columbus, MI and Susan (Nemeckay) Schoenherr (Joe) of Lenox, MI. Memorial Services will take place 11 AM Monday, June 29 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Lexington. Rev. Kay Houck will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Lexington Cemetery, with Military Rites by the Croswell American Legion Post #255.
