CROSWELL- Robert Guy Cutler, age 93, a resident of Croswell passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the McLaren-Port Huron Hospital. Bob was dedicated and devoted to his country and very proud of his service and it is only fitting that he should pass away on Veterans Day. He was born on October 6, 1928 in Detroit, a son of the late Guy and Maude (Nunn) Cutler. He married Marion E. Haas on March 13, 1954 in Croswell. She preceded him in death on August 23, 1991. Bob later married Wanda Wedge on October 16, 1992 in Croswell, she also preceded him in death on August 16, 2017. Bob graduated in 1947 from the Croswell High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean Conflict, with the 17th Bomb Wing from 1950-1954. He was employed as an Auto Salesman at Lindke & Stead Dealership in Croswell. He was a baseball and softball umpire for over 25 years. Bob was also a member of the Croswell American Legion and the Croswell United Methodist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Diane (Bob) Clark of Idaho and his son, Stephen (Jacqueline) Cutler of Oregon; granddaughter, Christy (Jeffery) Woods; two great grandchildren, Riley and Rachel; one nephew, William (Bill) Cutler of Newport News, Virgina. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Croswell United Methodist Church, with visiting at the church from 10-11 A.M. Rev. Linda Fuller will officiate. Military Rites will immediately follow the service at the church and will be provided by the Croswell American Legion. Inurnment will be in the Croswell Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Bob may be made to the Croswell United Methodist church or the Croswell American Legion.
