LEXINGTON- Robert M. Perpignon, 82, a resident of Lexington passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 14, 2018. He was born on April 19, 1936 in Detroit a son of the late Max and Erna (Koch) Perpignon. Bob proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He married Barbara A. Whitman on November 22, 1958 at the St. Denis Catholic Church in Lexington. Bob worked for Prestolite in Port Huron for 33 years. He was member of Ave Maria Parish-St. Denis Catholic Church in Lexington. Bob was a great man of faith and love for his family. Anyone who knew Bob, knew his great faith and he demonstrated this by making hundreds of wooden crosses that were sent to people world wide. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Barbara A. Perpignon of Lexington, his six children, Janet (Rocky) Wixon of Jeddo, Kristine (Todd) Thibodeau of Croswell, Lori Hunt of Lexington, Richard (Kimberly) Perpignon of Lexington, Julia (Rick) Burgess of Croswell and Patricia Perpignon of Croswell. 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A brother Karl Perpignon of Port Huron and a sister Irma (Rodney) Kujat of Wayne. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Benjamin Wixon and a grandaughter, Ashley Wixon and a great grandaughter Reese A. Pennington. His brother Richard Perpignon and three sisters, Gertrude Cooper, Helen Platts and Louise Schottle. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Ave Maria Parish- St. Denis Catholic Church in Lexington, with visiting at the church from 10-11 A.M. Monday. Fr. Donald J. Eppenbrock will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Lexington Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Bob may be made to the McLaren Hospice.
