Valerie K. Barnett

BROCKWAY- Valerie K. Barnett, age 70, a resident of Brockway passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the McLaren Port Huron Hospital in Port Huron. She was born on January 17, 1952 in Muskegon, Michigan a daughter of the late Lawrence and Wanda Mae (Wright) McRoberts. Valerie married James E. Barnett on October 8, 1998 at the Yale United Methodist Church in Yale, Michigan. Valerie was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked in nursing. She loved eagles, collected them and had her home entirely decorated with them. She loved to paint and color, do crossword puzzles and she loved to fish. She is survived by her husband Rev. James E. Barnett, Col. USAF, Ret. of Brockway; one step daughter, Stephanie Moore, two step sons, Adrian Williams and Marco Williams; two brothers, Bradley McRoberts and Brent McRoberts. Valerie was preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Williams and her sister, Lynette Adams. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were by the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Croswell.
